LEAP STEAM Agricultural Sciences University School of Mayaguez

Rooted in Puerto Rico’s agricultural heritage and focused on sustainability, this campus emphasizes agricultural technology, environmental science, food systems, agribusiness, and biotechnology.

Students explore soil science, crop management, hydroponics, sustainability practices, and agricultural innovation through labs, greenhouse work, and partnerships with UPR–Mayagüez and local agricultural enterprises.  The program prepares future leaders in agriculture, environmental stewardship, agritech, and food system innovation, supporting both local industry and global sustainability initiatives.
